No Upgrade? No Upgrade!
Consulting with a customer who was concerned their PC wouldn't be Windows 11-compatible, and who wanted advice on buying a new one, we planned a Linux upgrade to save them hundreds of dollars, only to realize on the day of service that they had Windows 11 already, and didn't need the support! There was no charge, since there was no need of service.
Lots of Apple Support Required!
A customer who recently upgraded to a new iMac computer needed their old tax files recovered for the 2026 tax season, wanted their decade-old vacation photos made available to their spouse, needed their old email files recovered, and wanted a lesson on using AirPlay to share photos from their iPhone to their living room TV. CozyTech was happy to help!
Account Support and Ring Footage
A customer wanted support with their email accounts, and help gathering up old Ring security camera footage to handle a dispute with the HOA. We were able to meet their every need!
Printer and Smart TV Support
A couple wanted help with a new smart television setup, including the use and installation of various apps. They also wanted old hardware removed from their home, and for some clarity on inconsistent printer functionality. It was a pleasure to help them with these matters!
No Windows 11? No Problem
A customer was concerned their older, refurbished computer wouldn't support Windows 11, and they were right. Fortunately, CozyTech was able to save them hundreds of dollars on a would-be hardware upgrade, by installing a free and lightweight operating system called Linux Mint. CozyTech moved their old files, bookmarks, and system preferences to the new environment for less than half of what they would have spent on a new computer.
Repairs and Upgrades
A CozyTech customer reported their computer as being "a little slow", and asked for advice. Finding an obsolete Windows 10 installation and a computer that could not upgrade to Windows 11, CozyTech recommended Linux Mint, a free and lightweight operating system, to spare the customer having to buy a new computer. Unfortunately, three out of four USB ports were completely destroyed due to this customer's active lifestyle! CozyTech was able to track down replacement circuitboards and make the replacement, before fully moving this customer's files, bookmarks and system settings to a lightweight Linux environment. The computer now moves faster, and all its ports are in tact!
