Old Computer Revival
$180 + parts
Instead of throwing away your old computer and spending $500+ on a new one, CozyTech can extend the life of your current machine for a fraction of the cost compared to upgrading! For a thorough explanation of what to expect, click here.
For 90% of computer users, replacing an old, sluggish, insecure Windows operating system with the free, fast, and secure operating system called Linux can add years of life while speeding things up! Often, aged hard disks and insufficient RAM should also be replaced, and this can also help add speed and longevity.
Service includes:

Replacement of Windows 7, 8, 10, or 11 with Linux Mint

Configuration of daily system snapshots (see glossary)

Configuration of nightly anti-malware scans (although you probably don't need it)

Electronics Removal & Recycling

Let CozyTech haul away your unwanted technology and handle the recycling responsibly.
Computers, televisions, and other electronics contain materials that should not be thrown out with your ordinary waste. It can be recycled responsibly, but many folks don't know how or where to do it. We'll take the guess-work out and make it easy!

Email Inbox Cleanup

Reduce your email Inbox count from 427,536 unread emails to 0.
For inboxes that support filtering, such as Gmail, CozyTech can set up automated filters to keep your inbox clean and usable.

Data Backup / Migration
$120 + parts
CozyTech can back up or replace most computer storage drives. Because of unpredictable file transfer sizes and speeds, we offer this service at a fixed price.
Provide your own flash drive to store your files, or, for a low cost we will provide one for you.
Broken Device Data Recovery
$40-180 + parts
Hard drives can become corrupted computers may break, but it may be possible to recover files from them. Best efforts will be made to recover files, although we cannot guarantee everything will recover successfully.
A $40 upfront fee covers the time and cost of the attempt, and an additional $140 will be charged if some or all of the data can be recovered. If no data can be recovered, there is no $140 charge.
Provide your own flash drive to store your files, or, for a low cost we will provide one for you.
Digital Keepsakes

CozyTech can digitize your precious photos and home video tapes, offering you posterity and peace of mind.
Once digitized, you may copy or share your digital photos and videos infinitely. You can re-print high-quality copies with local photo vendors, and watch your digital videos on modern smart TVs.
CozyTech can digitize VHS, S-VHS, and MiniDV tapes. VHS is captured using a high-end Super-VHS deck with time-base correction and noise reduction.
Photos start at $0.12 per photo digitized, and drop by one penny for every 300 photos done, e.g.
1-300: $0.12/photo
301-600: $0.11/photo
601-900: $0.10/photo
901-1200: $0.09/photo
etc.
USB Drives Available for Photo / Video Storage
No cost for tapes that turn out to be inconsequential (e.g. old soap opera reruns)
