Appointment Booking
Our $20 appointment booking fee guarantees your appointment, and covers the cost of an initial diagnostic.
Hourly Price Services
Your tech support needs are unique, so CozyTech's hourly-rate services help keep pricing simple. Most services are under two hours, although your appointment booking allows for up to three. Consider it "all-you-can-eat tech support".
Fixed-Price Services
Some services are available with a simple flat fee. These include "à la carte" services that are simpler (like email inbox cleanup) or where an hourly charge doesn't make sense due to long or unpredictable time demands (like hard drive migrations).
Packaged Services
The most important work CozyTech offers (personal cybersecurity assessment and improvement) is accordingly packaged and discounted. Our cybersecurity packages offer the greatest value, personally, and economically, of anything we offer.

Your appointment booking fee covers the initial diagnostic assessment, and you will not be charged for any work until we have an idea of the issue, and provide you an estimate of what the work is likely to cost. We won't start until you are satisfied with the estimate.

All hourly work has a one-hour minimum charge.

Unless otherwise stated, visits are not expected to exceed three hours. Visits requiring an excess of 3 hours allow for follow-up booking fees to be waived. Please see our Cancellation Policy regarding cancellations and rescheduling.
Hourly Rates
$60 hr
In-Home Service | $60 per hour, rounded down to the nearest quarter-hour.

After a diagnosis and discussion (covered by the cost of your booking fee), the work timer begins only after we agree to the scope of work and you have been provided with a reasonable estimate of cost.

Any adjustments to the scope of work which may change the estimate must be approved by the customer before proceeding.
$50 hr
Remote Support | $50 per hour, rounded down to the nearest quarter-hour.
CozyTech connects to your computer over the Internet to resolve your issues rather than visiting in person
Not available to resolve all issues. Requires a previous in-person visit to learn your technology environment and ensure remote support is possible using a common, safe application like Microsoft's Quick Assist).
$40 hr
Computer Coaching | $40 per hour, rounded down to the nearest quarter-hour.

When you want to learn how to use your devices, this can naturally take longer than allowing me to do everything for you. For this reason, the price is reduced when compared with in-home service.
Discounts Available
Past and present veterans, educators (and support staff), and first responders receive occupational discounts on all services (hourly and fixed-rate), which amounts to 16-17% with proof of service (a workplace badge, award of recognition, photograph, or any other obvious evidence will do!).

A privately negotiable discounted rate is available for customers receiving Medicaid, SSI, or SSDI with proof of utilization. (This price may not be combined with the above occupation-based accounts.)
"Pay in 4" with Afterpay
Tech troubles don't wait patiently for your financial situation to be perfect. When you need tech support now, but are concerned about the price, we offer a "four easy payments" solution through Afterpay. The invoice will be split into four smaller amounts, and charged, bi-weekly, interest-free. Afterpay does not require a credit check.
