Hello! I'm writing with a little bad news and a lot of good news.
The situation
Beginning today, CozyTech is entering a period of limited availability. This is because we're "onboarding our newest technician" (my wife is about to have our first baby!). We've never been parents before, but the resounding wisdom is, "strap in, because you're in for a non-stop, exhausting ride, especially for the first several weeks and months."

Since we haven't been parents before, we don't know what we don't know. All we do know is we're about to be very busy, and very tired. All the time. So with that in mind, we beg your pardon as we relegate CozyTech to extremely limited availability.
So are you available or not?
You are encouraged to reach out with your needs. Please email, call, text, or use the Contact page to let us know about your issue.
If it's something we can resolve remotely, we will walk you through that process. We have been busy building out a remote support solution using a secure, well-regarded app called RustDesk, the private and encrypted server for which runs from CozyTech's premises. Note the warning banner on RustDesk's website: only use remote desktop software when interacting with someone you know and trust; never install it because you're on the phone with a total stranger, because these services are often used in tech support scams. If you are a new customer, we will be happy to speak on a video call first so you can get to know us. We're Dayton natives with real names, faces, and an Ohio-registered LLC.
If we can help you by connecting remotely to your computer, or even by walking you through a solution over the phone (or email, etc.), we will be happy to do so. We do want you to call. And if we can't help you right away, and your problem needs solved rapidly, we will discuss local competitors who may be of use to you. We'd rather send your business to someone else than leave you completely out of options.
How long will your availability be limited?
It's hard to say right now. I get mixed messages from other people who have had babies recently. Some roll their eyes at the notion that I will never be able to step out of the house for a few hours. Others roll their eyes at the notion that I will be able to! Like I said, until we're "in it", we won't know what we don't know until we know it.
Ya know?
Plan on at least the entire month of March, and we'll revisit the subject when April arrives. (Then again, I've got a minor surgery at that time. I'll keep updating the News section of the CozyTech website, so you aren't left in the dark.) And remember, you can always call and email. We want to hear from you!
CozyTech is committed to offering the best in-home tech support and computer coaching in the area, for the best price, and being as available as we can, but in a stroke of irony, I started this business at the absolute height of life-changing events, spanning a university degree, a wedding, three surgeries and now, a baby. Your patience as we learn to manage these obligations has been so appreciated, and we intend to return with renewed availability and vigor (but we'll see what the baby has to say about all that).
So until next time, thank you, and take care!
